Just go. That was the plan. Half the world later, I began to understand what I had been looking for.

I met people who became mirrors. I lived with questions that stayed open. And I learned that arriving is a way of being — it happens on the way.

This journey begins with the life that came before, and the slow work of making peace with it.

In time, I grew gentle. And in the end, I came to rest.

But this is no ordinary spoon. He has traveled far. He has waited a long time for his moment. I stole him — at our very first lunch together.
